Math Sal

Math Sal is a filmmaker and writer based in Paris. He has spent more than twenty years shooting films all over the world, sometimes under rather questionable conditions—an experience that has given him a taste for novels and triangle sandwiches. He brings these two passions together in Open Relationship, his first novel. Any resemblance to actual persons is entirely coincidental.

A sexy, darkly funny romcom.

He survived the Paris film industry. Love? That’s another story.

Charlie is murdered on a film set before he even gets the chance to yell “Cut!” Now he invites us to rewind the movie of his life.
Cat food, life insurance, slimming creams… Once a star of the corporate film world, Charlie now finds his career going downhill. A perfume commercial may be his last chance to get back in the game.

On set, he falls head over heels for Kim, a Korean actress with the charisma of a K-pop star.

There’s just one problem: she’s definitely not single. So why not throw caution to the wind and dive straight into an open relationship?
But things get awfully complicated when Charlie comes face-to-face with Rodrigo, Kim’s flamboyant partner.

A ménage à trois isn’t what it used to be, especially with a gun pointed at your head.
